I had this lens for a short period of time, but could not stand somehow it's out of focus rendition.Yet is it very good and special for someone who likes such bokeh.

I regret selling this lens. It's niche, but it makes images like no other.
I had the Minolta version back in the film days, and sold it when I went digital. I regretted that for years, so I jumped on a great deal on the 100STF and haven't looked back. It's slow, expensive and not particularly small, but for what it does it really is unmatched. My favourite 'context' portrait lens of all time.
Now that I have the Sigma 84/1.4, the 100STF can rest easy, I'm not tempted sell it now.
EDIT: A thread where I posted some shots from a beer festival with the 100STF:
I recently went on vacation and brought the 100mm stf with me. I tough I was going to use it on the off day and would instead rely on the 16-35 and the 24-70. I was shocked to see that, in the end I took most of my outdoor shots with the 100mm. I had no doubts about the quality of the lense, but I wasn’t sure about the focal length. Turns out, I REALLY like that focal.
