Outstanding! #1 wins for the most excellent use of color, and #5 wins for the most personality in a bird photo (so carefree and happy looking). Well done!

Whoa. You must be hiding pretty good, Louie.

Thanks Rex, I've been hiding a bit back in the cattails in hopes that the KF would come closer.

Beautiful set Louie, some nice backgrounds on a bird that’s hard to catch.

I appreciate your comments Dave, thanks very much. This particular pond really does have some very nice background and color reflections on the colors in the trees.

Louie,
congratulations on this outstanding set of images. I love the one foot landing in #6, but they are all exquisite in their own way. Lighting is wonderful, and the in flight and on branch images you captured are just awesome.
Gero
I really appreciate your comments, thank you very much Gero.

HI Karl, always appreciate your comments and observations, thanks very much my friend.
Incredible set Louie! Going with the odds here..1, 3, and 5 are my faves. Especially the fall colors in the first and the head shaking in the third! Thanks for the inspiration!
An incredible collection of kingfisher images, you had to be doing something extremely right, awesome work! My favorite is where he has one talon on the top of his next perching site.
