Some of you who have been around awhile might remember one of my posts featuring Gabriella, who came to see me with her mom for portraits right before a brain surgery. I have had the pleasure of photographing them several times over the last four years, with the most recent time being a couple weeks ago.
We decided to use my horse, Evie, and I had a special prop ordered just for this! Gabriella used to love unicorns (she still likes them, but she's a much bigger kid now and some of the magic has faded) and it was lovely to see her interact with Evie.
It was magic to watch!
Gabriella and her family are keeping an eye on a new spot that showed up on her last MRI. All good thoughts/prayers/juju are welcome - hoping it does not grow.
