Very, very nice portrait
Finally I see someone how knows how to create depth playing and using DOF and wide angle lenses in portrait photography, and don't afraid of using manual lenses.
Colors are also very pleasant, tuned/muted - the way I like
Only thing what I would change is add brighten gradient on left side, because it seems for me that left side is darker than right side.
Anyway, I will follow You on flickr.com because I see there plenty of very good photographs!

Thank you much. I am in serious need to update my Flickr page . Interesting enough, I've had to get used to shooting with the 35mm, and on this trip it is all took. One body, one lens. :-)
Yeah, I hear You
There is something liberating using just one lens.
And I think for one lens solution, classic fast 35mm prime is most universal FL ever.
Furthermore, I just love portraits taken with this noble and subtle focal length (35mm @FF), when environment takes crucial part in composition
