Had a decent run of clear nights in April/May that let me spend some time on this target.
This is 16 hours integration across several nights on IC2944, the Running Chicken Nebula, in SHO pallet with RGB stars. As this was imaged in narrowband it is false colour (besides the stars), with sulphur mapped to red, hydrogen to green and oxygen to blue.
great capture of something so large and so far away that it is hard to visually grasp. great detail and colors. really shows the awesomeness of space. thanks for your time and effort in putting it together and sharing it with others.
