I often say that camera vendors should start experimenting with different frame proportions, and I prefer square to anything else. But I rarely shoot square unless it is a flower or something. I also like when others shoot b&w, but I rarely do it myself. So, I started a personal project to improve in both areas. These are mostly shot with GFX50S2, converted, and cropped. I also take a few images with Mamiya C330, but it will take a while to get those developed and scanned.
I love a square crop and sometimes do it as well because an image is just perfect for it, but I also love a good range of other crop dimensions too. These have definitely inspired me to try making more square cropped images though.

I like these a lot. The sepia provides a lot character to these portraits. I was going to ask if this was a third-party or Fuji preset...
I do most post processing in CaptureOne. These had 'Fujifilm Acros' curve & 'toning - sephia 2' applied, and then some adjusting of levels to add contrast. I find it no-brainer quick way to get good results. With these specific images I then went to Luminar for a little bit of glamorizing, just a touch.
