I received it yesterday and it was surprisingly small and lightweight after using 12-100mm F4 and 8-25mm F4 for 3 years. I also got out my old C-7070 to compare and although 8mm combined with E-M1 II was much heavier, it was not actually that much bigger, unassuming enough for street photography.
I went out to test it last night and despite the cold I enjoyed it, my first prime lens ever. I used AF and manual exposure F1.8 or F2.0 and 1/5 at ISO 200. The AF failed occasionally, and it was hard to keep extraneous elements out of the frame, but overall the lens is perfect for my needs.
For actual street photography, I will probably use F2.2 and ISO 250 (true base ISO of E-M1 II) and keep 1/5 sec. In preparation, I changed ISO step from to 1/3 stops and I also preset MF distance to the AF target button (because arrow pad automatically activates AF target anyways). I found it hard to see the AF target at night so I will have to change to be always green.
Sorry I'm not sure what happened to the pics in the first post. I will try to restore them.
Meanwhile, here some from this month's Doors Open: St. George's Hall, home of the Arts and Letters Club of Toronto. All of these were shot at f/1.8, and I definitely needed it!
