Mountain scenes from Colorado, the first 3 are from this year.
From San Juans and Elk Mountains, from fall colors seasons, and just after it for the 4th photo.
The 4th photo was on an overcast day, too much fog, too many clouds, but there were windows of opportunities. Due to the weather it was this location or nowhere, no other locations wee attractive.
Interesting processing. The first almost looked like B&W above, color below. The last is by far my favorite - looks the most natural, the peaks are fantastic, the light is sweet, and the swirling clouds and dark sky behind top it off.
A very interesting set. Enjoyed them all. 1st., 3rd. and 5th. the most interesting to me. Since I'm not a CO resident or at all familiar with the state I would appreciate knowing what I'm looking at if you wouldn't mind. Please and Thankyou.
Great set, that #3 is especially striking! Gotta love that CO weather, as it teases and teases and then, sometimes, gives a real payoff if you are still out there working the scene
I have spent several minutes scrolling back and forth over these images. There is a lot to like about them. The beautiful colors, light and awesome mountain peaks. I just wish that you had left a little more space at the top of each image. The huge mountain peaks seem to want to stretch up but have no room to move. I like number 3 the best because it has a little more breathing room. Colorado is so amazing.
1 is Mount Sopris mountain by Aspen. 3 is Mount Sneffels by Ridgway, 5 is rock formation by Crested Butte. Many other sights in southwest Colorado to photograph and dirt roads to follow. Lots of variety.

Very nice images! I especially love the first! Great job and congratulations!
On a carefully calibrated monitor for web viewing(2.2Gamma, 6500WP, 130CD) I could possible see maybe a fine tuning reduction of blue saturation in a couple of them. But I know that is just a matter of subjective taste.
