Gregg: Thank you. These were taken from the helicopter. As a general remark, many of the most beautiful areas in Iceland are currently out of reach of drones (unless one hikes to points interior to launch).

Sweet! I did some more reading on this volcano after seeing these pictures. Sounds like it might make some very loud noise in the future. Thanks for sharing your images with us.

Thank you. Two big volcanoes on the south coast are showing signs of waking up - the one in the subject header and the other is Katla.
