Nice series and a lot of fun to look at. I've seen Colorado change so much in my 66 years and images like these (from another western state) remind me of what we've lost here at home.

Great stuff Gordon . I remember several of these from there original posts at the time over the years . Keep up the fantastic work 😎
thanks so much! You are dating yourself if you've seen the originals from 10 years ago.

I'll bet you HAVE seen so much change. I've been in St. George 22 years and it's so different, including Zion and how people use that public land. Some good but a lot of it is sad.

I love your "project" Gordon and the selections from it that you posted here. You've captured not only the isolated beauty of the place but also the passage of time and season and in the process you've let me I feel like I'm there. Very cool. Thanks and congrats on the well deserved win! Steve
Gordon, this set is one of the threads/shots I look forward to seeing on fM every year! I can only imagine the changes you have seen in some of the less remote areas near you. This is a great picture again and is an inspiration for me to think about what I might consider as a recurring project.

i hope that time will show (hopefully not destroy) this cabin and it will age nicely.

I'm so touched at your words. I'm old enough in photography to know that inspiration waxes and wanes and if this gives you some ideas for your own photography project, that's awesome!

Well deserved win, a beautiful series, i love going back in time and creating series like these! I am working on one now from a 89 day trip to Switzerland several years back, and am readjusting some of the raws in the newest LR iteration, and having a blast from the past!
