Wandering the West Virginia highlands in late autumn I was grabbed by the intense color of this maple tucked back in a mostly bare forest. I loved how the grey background provided a neutral canvas for the showy maple, and the dark trunks in the foreground added contrast. I printed this for my office gallery on 22 x 17 Canson Edition Etching Rag, which is a stunning must-try fine art matte paper if you are into printing.

Appreciate that, Venturemore! I do love a painterly look when it happens. The print has even more of that due to the beautiful surface of the Canson Edition Etching Rag.
