Some argue that at f/1.4, the Leica Summilux ASPH produces both creamy bokeh and clinical sharpness, and I can't entirely disagree. However, I still appreciate the look.

I think that reviewer wrote a whole bunch of nonsense, especially this nugget:
I would not say this lens is not the best for film lovers because it is too sharp to give that natural film look (the subject will be too sharp, and the grain structure will be harsh)
The Leica 50 APO is sharper than the 50 Lux Asph and people freak out saying how incredible the APO is on film. As well as my direct experience using the Lux on film.
Also his parroting the claim that the Cron is sharper than the Lux? Again I have both and that is not the case. Also Lensrentals did a big 50 comparison test a few years ago and while the Leica APO ruled, the Lux 50 was significantly sharper than the Cron.
Don’t get me wrong I love my Cron v5, and use it more than my Lux Asph but that is because for me it is as sharp as
i need but more importantly I prefer the size and handling. I just love the shorter and lighter focus throw of the Cron v5.
