Near mint Leica 50mm f/1 Noctilux 6-bit coded for sale. (Version 2)
I've tried all versions and much prefer the v2 compared to the latest version with the plasticky and wobbly built-in hood.
Comes with all accessories including original hood in original box with matching serial number.
I will include a mint Leitz E60 front cap (rare) and a high quality slim Heliopan multi-coated UV filter (brass), made in Germany.
it's the sharpest copy of the 50/1 Noctilux I've tested but focusing was a bit stiff when I bought it. So, I sent it to Don (DAG) for CLA ($225). Upon receiving it, I was still not happy with the rangefinder alignment and focusing action and decided to send it to Leica. After 3 months, I got the lens back and it's now aligned to the rangefinder, focusing is very smooth and they added 6-bit code to it. ($667 service)
So, this lens got 2 recent CLA services and the latest was done a month ago (I believe Leica gives warranty to their service). The invoices will be included for both DAG and Leica. This copy is headache free! When you buy these old lenses, there is always extra cost to make it work properly.

Amazing!
Why do you prefer it over the one with built-in hood?
Yes I do. I tried two v4 lenses and could not get used to the finicky built-in plastic hood. I must prefer the v1, v2 or v3 designs.
The only problem is that one can't misplace the hood because they are $$ in the used market.
Ugh…you’re killing me with this. I have been eyeing and drooling over these for years but have several other lenses (which combined are probably half what this one is worth) on my list to purchase this year. If I find a bag of money on the side of the road on my way to work, I’ll let you know. 🙃
