It's fascinating to me that there are so many different "flavors" of beer and/or hard cider available for consumption. I'm not sure if any of them would be something I might try personally but to each their own I guess....right?
Has anybody tried this particular brew? Or perhaps a better question might be....would you?
1) The easiest one first- the crop. Crop the bottom of the image to eliminate the green surface. That's not helping you and will instant make this thing better.
2) Agree with David that the front of the can needs some more light on it.
3) This is more subjective - but caramel apples are a fall things usually, and I wish the tones were darker oranges and reds in the background, or even just neutral but darker tones.
4) Notice that you can see the table surface behind the can? Next time, move the product to the back of the surface so that you can eliminate it.
Overall impression: I like the direction you're going, but this feels very busy, and a bit of forced symmetry with the dual caramel apples. I think you should experiment with some other compositions. One apple, maybe an apple on top of the can dripping onto it. Also kind of curious why there are hazel nuts all over when caramel apples are covered in crushed peanuts usually.
Just some things to consider. But I think it's pretty nice and with a few small tweaks could be even nicer!

jprezant,
Thanks for taking the time to offer your detailed, very well presented and received, observations.
I have 3 different crops for this, one of which nearly eliminates the foreground green, but chose this one to post. Unfortunately the illumination on the front of the can is the same in all 3 versions.
I agree that the green "table" behind the scene should have been either filled in with more caramel morsels or eliminated by moving the setup further back on the table.
The "hazel nuts" are actually caramel baking morsels. I wanted to use the individually wrapped caramel squares but could not find any locally and didn't want to order 4-5 pounds of them from online.
The peanut covered caramel apples (for both the positioning and useage) were also poo poo'd by my in-house critic.
