What adapter are you using with your Sony/Minolta combination
I was an early adopter for adapting legacy manual focus lenses to Sony mirrorless and bought multiple inexpensive lens adapters on ebay. The quality and precision of those adapters was highly variable, but this one has performed well on my A7, A7RII and A7RIV over the years. Just got lucky on it. The labeling on the adapter is "Big_is MD-nex." If you google that now, you come up with zero hits. If I were buying an adapter today, I would opt for a Rayqual adapter. Camera Quest has them @ $129. Expensive for a passive adapter but Japanese built for precision and quality. Steve
It is a beautiful scene and technically great image!
Aesthetically, in my opinion, it would benefit from less emphasis on foreground. The top half of the above image presented in landscape orientation makes a very pleasing image on its own.
Thanks Jim and David! This is one of those nearby places I visit often. This slightly elevated perch is great for photographing the scene above and for overhead views of brook trout spawning in the pool below. Cool place. Steve

Nice fall color picture. It's also encouraging of use old Minolta lens on newer Sony body. I have couple of those lens.
Thanks for the comment! This is the Minolta MD 35-70 f3.5 macro version. I've used it on my A7, A7RII, and A7RIV and it performs well on all of them. I think it has extra special character on the original A7 and so that's where it lives most of the time. I love shooting with that combo when I'm in a manual focus mood. Steve
