Love them all, but no. 3 is special. Well balanced exposure capturing enough details in the dark areas and holding the bright zones.
Thanks for such nice compliments from you Chez!

A really beautiful series of images! That first one looks like quite a challenge to pull off! The last one is gorgeous, too!

Thanks, yeah the 1st one was real challenging since I had to shoot on top of the fence and so close to the waterfall with heavy mist. And it was very dark so I had to raised shadow in PP.

Thanks, these waterfalls are in the rain forest and it was dark and the color was not vibrant at all so i made them more realistic in my edits.
Well your eye for color editing is amazing. The coloring in all 3 is amazing, but # 3 takes the cake for me. Would love to know your editing process.

I too would love to know some of your editing steps. I can understand you opened up and brightened some of the shadows and increased vibrance, however the actual colours have a very natural feel to them.

Hi, as far as edits my workflow is at the high level: LR, PS, Color Efex, Perfectly Clear, no photos follow the same exact steps since each photo was captured in different lighting conditions or by different camera.
The 1st 2 were shot with Fuji 50R, edited in LR using Adobe Vivid, then I adjust vibrance/saturation,and green/yellow hue. I used PS/Color Efx to adjust contrast/tint, then final edits back in LR.
The 3rd photo was shot using Sony 7R4, LR profile Adobe Landscape, rest of edit steps were done similar to the above 2.
Hope this helps!

Hi Chas, see my response to mabidally about edits.
I like them all, but #3 I find stunning. I really like the framing of the falls by the surrounding.
So you lugged around a MF Fuji and the Sony? As I told you in a previous post, i'm going there in a couple of months and I am agonizing over what gear to take as I anticipate some hiking too, and i'll need to minimize weight. Most likely i'll take the a7r3 with a couple of zooms...

Thanks, you will like Tasmania. I enjoyed my trip a lot and want to go back to visit the West side next time.
Yes, I carried 2 cameras: Sony 7r4 with 16-35GM and Fuji 50R with 32-64 lens. The hikes to Russell and Horseshoe waterfalls were easy/short distance so a non issue.
