Congratulations to kdacharya for winning Feature Thread of the Week with 3 votes - View Previous Winners
I have yet to process many pictures so may not be able to do justice to all the wonderful sights and experiences. I guess you'll have to be a bit patient
Sighting in Kalahari are different that those in Kenya/Botswana, since the area is so vast and hence the density of the big cats is relatively not as dense as in the Kenya etc. This made the sighting much sweeter. You need a lot more patience and luck in Kalahari. Additionally the other visitors were very sharing in any info re: sighting, whenever possible.
The focus in this one will be more on our feathered friends.
As usual C&C is welcome
The first image is so pretty KD, lovely light and welcoming comp. on the challenger Tawny Eagle, let's get ready to rumble ! Giraffe with melon, I first thought tennis ball but I guess I had my scaling wrong
Hiding in plain site is an excellent shot buddy. Nice takes on the feathered offerings, so many species you found, you must have well trained eyes for these environments now from all your travels.
Wonderful and so glad you are enjoying it all!
KD, you have posted so many extraordinary sets. For me this one heads the list !!! Such marvelous work for first to last . Truth be told you had me with that first shot.
