When I'm not working sports full-time I like to get out and spend some time with megafauna. So last week I spend out in Northern Colorado photographing moose. It was some long days but the weather was great and the opportunities were definitely fantastic.
A superb set Matt. My favorite of the wildlife images is the two females facing each other with the mountains in the background. The rainbow mixed with landscape in an very unusual image and a stunner. I love all the different conditions you have presented.

Thanks Morris! That rainbow caught us by surprise because it dropped so low into the valley so I shot it with the only lens I had on me at the time. The rest were in the truck. We definitely got a mix of conditions and a great variety of subjects and backdrops so it made for a very diverse photo set!

nicely done, Matt. seems 400 2.8 is awesome. like the BW and the low key rimlit shot. voted.
I really love that lens, and I don't get it out enough. For some reason I default to the 100-400 but for this trip I left the 100-400 at home and took the 135 & 400 and could not be happier with the outcome!

The black and white is superb! The ones with rain are extra special. Beautiful set!
Appreciate it - I love working in black and white. Rain and weather elements are definitely something I haven't shot in much but I agree it adds a different element.
