Amazing set of photos, Joshua! I was expecting some small prey bug from your description, and was fascinated to see the huge insect that your bird was seeking.

I greatly appreciate your kind words, Shirley! The bark mantis is more exotic and rarer than the wood creeper itself. And its camouflage was really great but yet...
