I was very fortunate to be born and raised in a country with so much wildlife. Wake up to the sound of Oropendolas, Motmots, and Parakeets. It is truly a natural concert! Look outside my kitchen window and see up to 6 Keel-billed Toucans feeding from a nearby fruiting tree and see up to 11 species of hummingbirds all year round feeding from flowers in my yard!
I think it is well said that Costa Rica is a great destination for birders and photographers. What do you think?
I hope you enjoy my photos.
Looking forward to your comments
Yes, for sure Costa Rica is a great destination for nature photographers.
Your photos are superb. The Curassow is a different style from the others and I like it.
incredible shots, Magdalena. To get some of these in flight is not easy and like the way you processed and shot the curassow. voted.
BTW my wife and I, along with another couple from India are coming in October for a week.
Pura Vida.

Beautiful set of photos, Magdalena. Such vibrant colors. The hummingbird is really exceptional. Do you tire of shooting the same species all the time?
Thanks a lot!
