p.5 #2 · Your favorite buying stop for photographic equipments?
I look on the B&S forum first for many things, but I mostly buy from B&H since I get it the next day with free shipping, however I have been trying to send more business to Milford Photo. They are an hour drive away, so I usually only go there if it is something that is not practical to ship like seamless paper, but I found out they can ship, so I might try them for online orders as well since they have the same prices for Canon equipment as B&H.
In regards to taxes, as a business I need to pay sales tax on things I buy that are not for resale, so I prefer buying from vendors that charge sales tax, makes my tax reporting simpler, so online vs local retailer makes no difference now.
