Very nice, Rajan. Too bad it won't be green when I'm in Iceland starting next week.

Gale,
Reykjavík has already become greenish, but in general yes, the meadows and slopes in the countryside start turning at the very end of May and the first week of June. You never know, you may get lucky this year. In any case you won't be lacking for subjects & scenes to shoot.
You may have seen this link already, but if you haven't you can follow the land in realtime here -
Rajan, what a brilliant composition! The stream of water leads viewer right into the image. You got some really nice defused light. Well executed image 👍🏻YGMV

David and Parul - thank you, both.
The optimal conditions in which to photograph this landscape is an overcast day following a wet spell. That helps accentuate the greens and other colours. Needless to add, there is only a brief window during the year for this type of Highlands photography, from late-June until mid-Sept (or when the first snow showers arrive).
Beautifully composed, Rajan. I love this phrase from your blog post - “This is very much Game of Thrones-y territory” - agreed, just fantastic and surreal. Subscribed, and voted 😎

(That's why I'm booked to be there in late June)
Thank you, Mike. Here's wishing you a highly productive visit.
