Good looking set John. The first is funny as it appears it's waving to you. I like the second for the natural behavior and the third is a lovely portrait
You and #1 appear to be friends? A standing waving bear is rather unique I think, oh my that is darn sweet. Looks like lunch was a salad in #2 and a bit of curiosity on #3 and keeping eyes on you
#4 Whaaaat a barbed wire fence, get that out of here! Dang buddy the last is special for sure, Moma standing tall and little one at her side, that is very special.
A fine set John of one of your most favorite subjects

Thank you Morris. Yes it does look like he/she is waving, it was actually pulling the green limbs with the new leave shoots closer to eat them. Tender leaves and grass ( salad ) seems to be what they are eating now. Thanks for looking and commenting.
Cades Cove is a magical place. Almost like Yellowstone. I haven't been there since the digital camera age. My film photos sure weren't as nice as the images you posted.
Great job with all the images. Black bears are hard to shoot and get the eyes to show.

Thank you Karl. Without your help and encouragement I would not have started posting here. Truly grateful for everything.

Thank you Joshua. I've seen bears in trees lots of times, don't ever remember seeing one standing on two feet in a tree. I appreciate you kind words. Thank you.
