Thanks! This is from Inspiration Point, actually. Nice to know another forum member familiar with SB though! I need to go back with a camera to the Camino Cielo area sometime, I've never done landscapes there. I don't get home very often but next time I'll do a lot more hiking and hopefully get some more great photos.

I'll admit that I am too crop-shy. But I think you are right. Here's the 4x5 version.
Cropping is your most powerful compositional tool. And you don't need to stick with '4x5' or any other preset ratio. Every image tells you what crop is needed when you become experienced enough. In this image, simply lower the top border until the sense of balance between the sky and the ground feels right. It is what it is.
