It seems like there's enough M/Q Monochrom and converted camera shooters around to justify a dedicated thread.
Color conversions are welcome, but it would be interesting if you could give a brief explanation why you choose the conversion over a color image.
I'm shooting with an a7rII converted by Monochrome Imaging.
Wow, a Sony A7RIII converted to a Monocrome camera. Sounds tempting. I've been shooting with the Leica Monochrom (M9) since it hit the market, and recently purchased a Leica Q2M. I get excellent Color to B&W conversions from my Sony A7R3, especially when the light is right, but still prefer what I call the organic feel of Leica Monochrom images. I'm selling my M Mononchrom since I don't need two Monochrom cameras. The photos included here are my wife, first photographed with the Sony outdoors and converted to B&W. The second is with my Leica Q2M indoors using available light. It's in low light situations where I find that a Monochrom camera shines. Is that your experience with your converted Sony?

It's an rII, and that's an important difference, particularly if you go with a full-spectrum conversion like mine. The rIII has an internal IR light, apparently used for timing at ISO 800 or above or shutter speeds of 1sec or longer. There's some more information on it here: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1736046/75
As for my camera, I haven't found a shooting scenario where it doesn't shine, but, yes, I am particularly happy with the low light performance. Using the camera is an absolute joy. That said, if Leica were ever to produce an SL2M, I'd probably switch because it has all the features I want from a digital camera (IBIS, silent shutter, focusing through the lens) without the post-processing hassle of running the RAWs first through Mono2DNG to avoid any debayering, and then saving the RAWs as well as the DNGs, in case we ever see improvements in that software or improved software from another maker (like if Adobe or C1 ever gives us the option of not debayering a RAW image). If you're happy using an RF and just want to import your images directly into your chosen post software, the M10M is an amazing performer that will, in my opinion, rival your Q2M by virtue of different lens options.
Thanks for posting the lovely images of your lovely wife (who has excellent taste in glasses, BTW).
