Was on location for a shoot this week at an Italian restaurant, which ended up being perfect for this theme. Unsurprisingly, in the south, even the Italians like serving fried chicken with their spaghetti. What is a surprise is how good of a combo this is.
If you ever find yourself in North West Arkansas the Venesian Inn is incredible completely from scratch Italian food.
That looks delicious! Certainly not a combination most people outside of the south think about, but then again, most of us outside of the south can't get fried chicken that looks that good!
Being of Italian descent it is blasphamey to eat anything non Italian with pasta BUT nothing beats great Southern fried chicken!
So while my mother is rolling in her grave, I will have to try this delicacy if in the area!

Chicken + Fritters (Fritters are NOT Hush Puppies, you can argue all you want but they are diff'rnt)
