Thank you. We just got lucky, we spent several days in this area putting in 8-10 miles every day. We were shocked to see him hunting the path in front of us. This was our # 1 target, I keep hoping we would get lucky, my friend keep saying don't get your hopes up. Late one evening there he was No not Merritt Island.
What a sweet find John! Hard to pick a fav, some merit in several.
While #1 is a nice clean pose with the tail I think #2 has some bad ass attitude and like it more! #3 holds my attention with eye contact and has nice lines following up the back and with the turn-around look #4 just seems to work nice with the comp, and environment placing it, looks like you were hiding behind a palm tree
Your efforts to get down low paid off to add some dynamics to the eye contact in each, great shooting and presentation is pleasing and natural looking to me.
Glad to see you pouring it on from that trip to Florida, many firsts for you that look great

John - Bobcat WOW, How cool are these! Congratulations. I would love to just see one let alone get shots like these.
Thanks for sharing and Well Done,
Greg
Thank you for the kind words. I've seen beautiful shots of bobcats on this forum, from a few different members. I was incrediblely envious of their photography skills and the good fortune to see a bobcat. I'm 65 and didn't think I would ever see one. It was a lot of walking my feet ,hips and my knee were killing me. But eventually the pain subsides and your left with incredible memories and a few descent shots. And that's what makes it all worthwhile
My wife would love to get a shot of a bobcat. She was hiking with her camera and one was behind her on the trail just 20ft away. But she was so taken by how close it was she didn't react in time to get a shot before it ran off.

Thanks Morris. I talked to a few photographer's during the trip. Some told m they lived in Florida their whole life and had never seen one. We felt very lucky.

Thank you for your detailed comments. There were many firsts on this trip. When I first saw the bobcat I was stunned, I ask my friend "what is that ". We only had a few minutes with the cat, immediately after I wished for a second encounter. All the things I did wrong or wished I would have done different were running through my mind. We both were on cloud nine. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic day.
Great set John. I have been going to a place locally for the last 5 years. So far I had seen it ONLY once. :-( But well it's at their terms so cannot complain.
