Hi all,
I’ve struggled with winters for many years, and found that forcing myself outside with my camera to create - even when the landscape seems barren - has been a great remedy for winter blues. Perhaps some of you can relate. I wrote an essay about this for PhotographyLife.com if interested in reading (link below), and I’m sharing the images on FM from that article.

Nice work. #2 & 3 stand out for me. Since I'm a skier I love winter, but don't find myself shooting nearly as much as in summer since I don't carry my "big" camera skiing much.

Well done Ross. They are all beautiful, interesting and unique images. I particularly like #2. It almost appears to shimmer and is quite extraordinary.

Thank you Jim! I wish I had learned how to ski when I lived in Oregon and Washington, that would have added a lot of fun to winter.
