I don’t do people photography so no technical stuff but to me as a viewer these are amazing. #5 is absolutely incredible, the position of the subject and the light. 👍🏻
Thanks ! Technical stuff just helps explain a bit of context how image is taken but what counts most is how you feel about them !
Most appreciated

These are soooo awesome!!! Great job. With a little more light on the face, 1 and 3 would be my faves, but as it is, I"m with the others on No. 5. Love these!!!
Just realized you asked for c&c. These are awesome as they are. I feel like, since these are really environmental shots, that they're cropped too tightly. I'm not sure what I would have done about the lighting on 1 and 3. Her head going up is the right thing, esp on No. 3. Maybe No 1 I would have had her face looking straight forward and (thus lit by natural light). Maybe I would have added a flash to No. 1, up high and behind her to light her face and backside, but the light would have be really controlled to keep from messing up this really gorgeous ambient natural light you have going there. Aside from the cropping, 1 and 3 are the only ones I would probably want to make any changes on. The others are, for me, impeccable. great job!

Thanks ! Good feedback on lighting of the face - something I could perhaps bring out a bit in post production (these are fairly SOC)

Many thanks ! In fact agree about the tight framing, these are actually cropped from the original shots which is how I "saw" the final image (maybe about 2/3 original framing). Instagram can have a (negative) influence on how we share images ! (in this case!)
Personally I really like #3 and #6: for me they capture the essence of dance. The pose in #5 seems a bit awkward to me, makes me think of king fu, light is beautiful though. #8 feel like they should be in a separate set.
Agree Daniel. I really like the grace-fullness of #6 though I like most of them. The smooth diagonal of the parallel arms and legs looks llike she is taking flight.

I can only comment on these super compositions as a viewer. I have never tried to capture images like a dancer....Sports yes...the intricacies of dance and the flow of motion..just have not achieved that skill yet!
I am enjoying all of these!
I always enjoy the photographer's technical explanation of their compositions. It helps me "see".
