Some great shots and Loess Bluff is on my list to visit. What month(s) are the eagles present? I hear November and December is best, but what about March? Thinking maybe I could go up there during spring break (March 12 - 20).
At this time, there are so many bald eagles and other types there.
One photographer there that I talked to, said that he'd been going there for 13 years and doesn't remember seeing this many eagles in recent years.
December, January and February may be the peak.
Honestly though, this was just my second visit there, so maybe someone more experienced in that area can comment.
What an impressive set, Anil - I enjoy them all! I can't help but noticing that your in-flight images were taken with your Sony gear while the stationary ones were taken with your Nikon gear. Any particular reasons as to why?

Great set of images, Anil! I always like following along with your images to see where others in the St. Louis area are shooting.
Nice to see others in the area - Riverlands, Alton, Horseshoe Lake, Pere Marquette, Florissant, Unger Park etc are where I had luck at.

At the risk of starting a brand war, the Nikon mirrorless cameras do not track birds in flight at all, and I end up using AF-S Spot.
I have no confidence when it comes to any kind of action with the z bodies, and use the Sony as I am confident of it's AF.
However, I like Nikon files/colors, etc and so for perched birds, I prefer using the z7ii or z6ii.
