In recently picked up a copy of this lens. There is a notable rattle when the lens is not powered-up. Is everyone experiencing this? I checked the Serial # with Tamron and it's not on the recall group.
You’ll find this with lenses that have linear motors.

Totally normal. Nothing wrong. Several lenses will do this and you will notice as you walk with camera and lens slung over your shoulder. Weird sounds yet no worries.
