Spent the weekend in the Gore Range in Central Colorado. Didn't have the opportunity to chase the colors in SW Colorado like most everyone else in the state, but it gave me a heck of a show.
Unique perspectives of one of my favorite mountain ranges. I very much like the telephoto point of view shown in these images and of course the lighting and atmospheric conditions made for one of a kind images. You may have missed an opportunity to chase the colors in SW Colorado, but you have come away with images I think it is safe to say no one else has.

World class photos of the mountains. Simply stunning. However, the moose photo is something else. How did you manage that shot?
Paul -
I caught him coming through in the light against a bunch of shadows. I just exposed for the light and waited until he his the perfect spot in front of him. chiaroscuro is one of my favorite styles in photography.

Amazing set. Especially those telephoto shots!
Appreciate it! Telephone landscapes are deeply underrated.
