p.1 #1 · Oregon Coast Night Sky

Captured two years ago this month, the quarter moon softly illuminated the Oregon coast as the milky way faintly appeared through the moonlit sky. I'm eager to get back to the coast this month before the milky way core is gone for the season.

C&C welcome and appreciated!

Foreground: 20 images, each at ISO 1000, f/8, 30s. Stacked in photoshop for noise reduction.
Sky: 20 images, each at ISO 3200, f/2.8, 10s. Stacked for noise reduction and aligned in Starry Landscape Stacker
Combined and processed in Photoshop.

Thank you!

Tim

I really like the composition, but the overall exposure makes the image look more like daytime rather than night.

Great capture and composition. I agree with chez that it could benefit from some darkening and added contrast.
