Razor sharp where it needs to be, and nicely rendered OOF areas. And yes, that’s about the best compliment I’ll ever give to a cubs fan 🤣
Haha, thanks Mitesh! And yes, the greatest game ever played was on a Wednesday in Cleveland.
Dropped my kid off for some pre-calc tutoring and took advantage of that time for another walk. Not ideal light due to the mid-day time, but I'm just happy to have such a lightweight, capable rig to shoot any time. The zoom gave me the option in this case of trying a different composition on the perched heron. There was no decent shot to be had at 400mm shooting across water, but at least the wider shot shows environment and scale.

Really like the environmental view of the perched heron shot.

Nice to see that you're enjoying the setup. I have to say I love mine for the same reasons, and among a few others.
Three shots today with the OM-1 and handheld focus bracketing. I stacked them in Helicon. I am thinking I'll really like this for flowers and other semi-macro due to the rapid focus bracketing and the great stabilization.

It really says something when you have the RF 400/2.8 and still find the Olympus 150-400 worthwhile. Can’t wait to try it with the OM-1 as opposed to the E-M1X. I will miss the GPS feature though!
My daughter's softball team got their first win of the season today, 16-15 in thrilling walk-off fashion. Unfortunately my favorite player was sidelined due to illness. She was still there to support her teammates and I was able to contribute with some photos for the team.
