First time in the Outer Banks, had to make a night time visit, and wasn't disappointed. There was just enough marine fog as the temperature dropped to add some real character. These are all single exposures.
Thank you! I took lots of different shots with the lighthouse light on, off, almost off and found the best was when I caught 1 full pulse (it did 2 per cycle). With no light the milky way was certainly a little more clear, but with the exposure getting about 1/3 light on, 2/3 light off (or more) it worked out really well. The mosquitos were fed well too.
