I met Svetlana at the bus stop when we were seeing our kids off to their first day at in-person school. She lives down the block from me and when I proposed a shoot, she was on board! We had my makeup artist there to do hair & makeup and completely glammed her and her kiddos up.
Her children are beautiful and very serious! I did not ask for any serious faces, I even asked for some big smiles and got little subtle smirks, which is perfect for my style of photography!
I've been lucky to be shooting the past couple of weeks and really enjoying it. Thank you for looking, as always.

Great work here. Love the poses and the expressions, and beautiful subjects always help of course. My only question/comment is: are these a little too "finished"? Again nothing major here and if this is a photographic style, totally get it and of course cool, but is the skin a fraction too perfect? All subjective I know and I think the lighting and everything else is super good and I'm sure they are in love with these shots.
