This is one of the most striking and beautiful birds to photograph in South America, unfortunately in most places where you can see them, these birds remain a little far away, tucked between branches and the light conditions are not very good.
In Colombia there is a unique and magical place in a small town in the middle of the Andes, here is the only place where you can photograph this bird less than 5 meters away.
Unfortunately the lighting conditions as in all lek are not the best and my camera does not support high ISOs, anyway, I enjoyed photographing this beautiful bird.
