Your photography has been an inspiration to so many people. I hope you continue doing photography (in any form) and sharing it with others. Best of luck to you, Colin!
Incredible pictures, the level of details on most of these... unreal!
I hope that the new PLS diagnose allows you to continue taking pictures and experiencing all other things in life that you enjoy.
I usually show forum pictures to my wife, and yours are constant ones. Wish you the best of luck on this fight.
Beautiful images Colin, and I am so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Keep fighting! My husband is long past his expiry date with his illness, but refused to give in.. bottom line, still alive and with life quality. It can be done!! Never give up, never give in!
Awesome images! Each unique as the birds.
My heart goes out to you with the health news.
Hopefully you can find joy with your camera, maybe with the thought do it while I can.
Sad to read this and it brought some tears in me. I share the possible pain as I am just recovering from two covid-related deaths in my family in the last four months - my 88 year old mother and 77 year old brother-in-law. You are too young to be in such a condition but as long as there is life, there is hope.
with prayers,
gil
I am saddened to hear of your recent news. I really loved the photos and the theme and can't imagine how long it took you to get all the images. They all look recent and fresh which just echoes the earlier comments on your skill and technique.
I had a friend that at about your age got the diagnosis you just received. He lived in Victoria and lived alone and was able with daily home care to live a very involved and independent life for quite a few years including looking after his dogs until they passed from old age. As you mentioned there is no one path for this and everyone responds differently. I wish you happiness where you find it whether that's with a camera, with family or with something that you haven't considered yet.
Best wishes.
I don't know you and you certainly don't know me, however, I've seen how fabulous your work is and for a brief moment, as I write this, I feel a connection and wish that whatever path lies ahead for you is a smooth one and I wish you my very best. I believe there is a better place for all of us and that saying about when one door closes another one opens is something I believe in. Hope that circumstances will still allow you to share more beautiful images.
Stunning set as usual. I've always enjoyed your images and they inspire me to continue to pursue the hobby of wildlife photography. There aren't really words to say your given situation, but I wish you and your family the best and hope that you can find happiness in life regardless of what the future holds.
Collin, I always admired and followed your amazing work. I hope this is not your last post. So sorry to hear about the news, praying for you and your family, Stay strong.
Dear Colin,
I'm sure we will see your inspiring images for many years to come!
Photography is a mental therapy for me and hopefully it will bring you joy during these difficult times.
Best,
Fred
