It looks like time well spent! If I can make a small suggestion I prefer a bit more space on top, some of the shots looked a bit crowded (to me). YMMV!

Thank you very much, Joshua! It's actually at least 5 different families - not sure after all the culling. I've only been able to find one family with 2 chicks; all others had just one baby.

Thank you!! I shot with a Canon 100-400 and a 400 DO II with and without a 1.4x extender. I use a crop camera so it gives me another 1.6x. Most shots were at 896mm FF equivalent but sometimes loons surface right next to the boat; you also need to zoom out when they are preening and get out of the water. The extreme close-up shot was at 672mm FF.
