Spent the weekend in Sedona to shoot the Milky Way like a lot of other photographers
Taken with a Nikon Z7 with FTZ adapter and a Sigma f/1.4 Art lens. The sky shots were tracked with a Sky Adventurer Mini and blended with blue hour shots in the same location.
Over Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock. The Village of Oak Creek is on the right and Sedona is on the left.
jabong, I really like your photos, especially the first one. The nebulae were out of this world. I was wondering about what date these photos were taken and which Sigma lens you used. Well done!!

Thanks, these were taken June 11th (Courthouse Butte + Bell Rock photograph) and June 12th (Cathedral Rock). And my bad, I didn't realize I forgot the focal length of the Sigma lens -- it was the 35mm f/1.4 Art lens.

Beautiful images especially the first one!
The various lights in the foreground, are those homes or campers?
How long of an exposure is the traced image? Seconds or minutes?
Thanks! The lights in the first one are either cars or night hikers I believe. The second panorama may have a home or two in the background.
For the first photo, the tracked image is 90 seconds, made up of two rows of six exposures. The second one is 60 seconds, with three rows of six exposures each.
Excellent work.
Been wanting to do some more night time photography but you've got to start at like midnight and be up for a few hours. Gettin hard to do lately,
