If she was wearing a big wig I might have thought it was Lady Gaga! This is by far the most dramatic bassist shot I've ever seen.
But I really like it, drama and all. Nice job!!!

Very cool! How much is post - and how much actual smoke bomb? Just curious since actual smoke wouldn't magically avoid her face etc. :-) Well done either way.

Thank you very much!

I had to crop in post to remove some of the background (studio wall, v-flat on left, etc)

I filled in a bit of smoke in the upper left in post, but that was about it.

I am confused about the smoke. Was this a PS add-in or was it real? Thanks.

2 lights, vflat camera left, 2 smokers.

Back light bare profoto B1, camera right, silver Profoto XL umbrella, smoke was filled in a bit in post upper left side of photograph.
