I'm slowly post-processing photos from the past 3 years and wanted to get everyone's take on this image. This was shot on a backpacking trip with my girlfriend in the Lofoten Islands, Norway.
if this is a sample of your typical capture and post processing approach then I would say we are in for an upcoming treat as you continue to post images going forward. This looks great - very natural, with the comp working to add that layer of mystery to a place that is already pretty magical. Great stuff, but now we are going to expect more...

I'm taking a deep dive into revamping my post-processing, so this image is a step in that direction. I actually have too many learning materials piled up right now and am not applying enough of it, so I'm trying to post here to keep me honest in my learning. I'm sure I'll disappoint soon enough I'm glad to join this talented and knowledgable community so that I can learn (and hopefully I can contribute some value)!
