You guys/gals ever rummaged through your lens closet and said 'hey what's this? I thought I sold this?' Only to remember you had two and did sell one
The EOS 70-300mm IS USM, remember the short squat white one?
So to the side yard for a spin on the Alpha
I know we’re all becoming accustomed to these incredible advances in modern photography, as evidenced by the daily uploading of spectacular imagery here at FM, but there are times when I’m just gob-smacked astonished at what our equipment is capable of.
I Shot an airshow over the last 3 days with Sony a1 and FE200-600, and some of the detail captured of these incredible pilots and machines is just remarkable to me. Here’s an F16 “Viper” screaming across the sky and traveling somewhere between 500-600 ear-shattering mph as he banks in front of me. I fire off a burst of six images at 10fps as the hair on my arms stand straight up.
I think it’s remarkable that our gear allows us to capture such detail from an event that happened in a fraction of a second at mind-numbing speed. How lucky are we?!?

Based on a rough Google maps measurement it looks like ~50m.
