We decided to take a little road trip to Portal AZ though the Chiricahua Mountains. The 100-400 and the 24-105 did a nice job. I had the 200-600 with me but everything was pretty close and the 100-400 was plenty.
I grew up on the NM side and it's been 30+ years since I was last in the area... not much has changed and it was just great to be up in the pines.
Some other Eagle shots over the last week or so. The first one is of the Steller's Eagle that has found its way to Maine (amazing its so far from home). I posted more shots in the wildlife forum.

How lucky were you to be able to locate this celebrity, and in such cooperative manner for composition!
