Thanks Geoff for the beautiful images.
Amazing clarity, detail, color, and life-like appearance.
I wonder how absence of lighting extremes helps to create better IQ.
Last week, when hiking along the shore in a place where few people I expect would go in Cayo Coco (Cuba), I came across a dead crab perched on the edge of a coral rock. I attached two pictures of this crab, undisturbed, exactly as I found it. It looks as if the crab crawled to the rock to see the Atlantic for the last time. On the pictures, it is still gazing with the unseeing eyes at the horizon, as if there was some consolation for the dying creature in that view. Of course, I cannot claim that this is the real story behind the pictures. Yet, since for many people the reality is what they believe in, I am prepared to claim that my story is true!

Yup I agree... If someone didn't like a post then move onto the next one...
The problem is, these gifs take a long time to load and seem to cause the whole page to need to be reloaded each time I visit it. As the page gets longer, it takes longer and longer. So much so, I have had to hide posters who frequently post gifs.
Sure, you can do it, but it's just impolite to do so once the problem has been pointed out. We know the A1 AF is great and a gif is one way to show that. But how many times do we need to do that?
The 30 fps gif of the Northern Flicker a couple of pages back is only 1500 x 1132 pixels but it is 61.7 MB. That's around 15+ seconds just for that image on my connection. Put a few of those on a page and it quickly becomes intolerable.
My internet connection is 35Mb/s by the way. I'm sure lots of people will be slower than that.

Thanks K-H. Even light is nice. Cloudy bright is often my preferred weather to shoot in unless sunrise or sunset.
