Thanks Joshua! I did post a couple of these images before. When I went back to the folder to pull out one of the images, I found a number of images that I had not processed. Most of the images, however, were of the Bobcat walking away from me i.e. with his back towards me, but I was pleasantly surprised that there were a number of decent images I had missed!

I wonder why did you hide them for so long? Those are great images of the elusive bobcats there, Bobby!
Thanks, Birdie! Yes, the trails are usually used by joggers, walkers, and photographers - so they are quite used to seeing people. Having said that, they would usually dart into the bushes when they see someone approaching. They spotted me ... but I stopped ... so they did not feel threatened. Then one of them went into the bush while the other one walked away along the trail ... and I followed him while keeping a safe distance i.e. safe/unthreatening from the Bobcat's point of view. I have not heard of any reports of a Bobcat attack. They are unlike Mountain Lions who are significantly more dangerous animals ... and there are too many of them in LA County ... and too few Bobcats!
Someone once told me that if there is a fresh or fairly fresh poop on anyone of the many trails in the sanctuary, it's a sign that a Bobcat is in the area. And it did work! One time I did see some fairly fresh poop on the trail (for some reason, the Bobcats like to poop along the trail - maybe this is to discourage people from using the trails!) ... so I waited, from a distance, and partially hidden ... and after about a half hour or 45 minutes, a Bobcat did appear from the bushes!
