In just a few weeks one of my absolute favorite locations to shoot at in Vancouver WA will be full of blossoming cherry trees. I always try to make sure to schedule at least one shoot there if I'm in town, and this year I will be so I'm really excited to get back there. Here's a shot a took there in recent years of a model named Alyssa. Lit with all natural light. Camera used was an original Canon 5D with a Canon 135mm f/2 lens attached, set to f/2.8, 1/500th sec, ISO 400.
I really miss my 135 f/2 when I shot Canon. Recently picked up the Sigma 85 f/1.4 DG DN which has similar rendering for my Sony A7III.
Gorgeous shot.

Thank you!
I used to really love mine as well, but after a couple of years shooting with it I was starting to feel limited by it's long focal length, and decided to use an 85mm f/1.8 lens instead. Both lenses are used for their depth of field (in my opinion), but I found that the 85mm essentially got the same job done with more versatility and with a much less expensive price tag.
Really nice. Very pretty model. Can't wait to see the shot that you take there this year.
I like that location with the trees forming the tunnel behind her, but sadly I'm on the wrong coast and a very long way from there, so I will have to find my own spot something like it near me. Wouldn't want an exact copy anyway.

Another stunner, Daniel! The composition is top notch, the model is gorgeous and the skin tone of the model is right on the money. However, the tone of the surrounding area appears to be a tad too magenta to me. I am not saying that it is bad and I know each photographer has his/her own preference but I can’t help but noticing it.

Thank you so much! Yes, I did localized editing to the surroundings to harmonize the entire photo. Thanks for the feedback.
