DanielJStein,
Thanks so much! Lots of good stuff out there, appreciate the very high compliment. It is fun when you can see your own results improve like I was able to achieve this past year. Always new things to learn going forward though which keeps in fresh and fun.

That's one of my favorite things about this hobby! I look back on my old work and I am wow. Learning and improving each day and night.

Daniel,
You are so right, couldn't have said it better myself. it's a weird hobby - you take images of objects that typically don't change visually over your lifetime. Everyone else takes the same images. But each time you get something it is a new thrill, even if you are taking an image of something you took before, to see how much more you can get out of the capturing and processing. I still love to see what pops up out of the data as you align and combine the subframes.
Thanks to everyone for the continued comments and support - much appreciated. There is always something new to learn but it is fun when an image really comes together.

That was so well said. I can't tell you how many times I have captured the Milky Way, but each time it just gets better and better. The inspiration is always there, and the drive to keep improving is so powerful.
