3am?? I think I will be meeting you guys elsewhere!
Ed, I thought you said you going to come with me for the next sunrise. Just go to bed early that night (say before 2am), I can pick you up from your place.
What do you guys think of a website with your own domain name, own design and being able to store 1000 images for US199 p.a.?? Including website hosting fee and domain name registration fee.
The thing is I am not an IT guy and I don't know how to write my own website.

Just a quick poll how many of you use aRGB or sRGB? I've read that most photo labs use sRGB and the web use this format. If anyone has a particular preference for one of the standards it would be great to hear from.
If you guy's are serious about Domains and Web sites then .
$100 US + Setup and Domain Name Giving you 400 Mb of space and 4 Emails plus other tools as well . And the best part isYOU have control not send countless emails to the so called support techs to get stuff done and then wait.
I can change things at will and see pretty much instantly the results .
Not so serious about having a website for the business. I will be more serious about it if I get more migration business from overseas. At the moment, I am getting 95% of my business from referrals and nobody cares whether I have a website or not.
More serious about getting an album style (just like your SRSphotography.com) website for my good shots - blurry shots But I have no idea as to the layout/design of my gallery (the SRS seems simple and good), my pbase is not very logical at the moment. All the latest shots will go on the last page of the gallery (unless renumbered individually) and pbase doesnt have a slideshow function. I am not sure whether I should just get another pbase (to store only good shots - keep the current one for learning, sharing, family, holiday pic), OR have a decent website with my domain name (something like zaneyau.com), OR, put those good shots on other websites, say Ozimage, betterphoto.com, fredmiranda ...
Camera bags.. I had a look on the weekend down at Photo Riesl (sp?) and they prices there weren't too bad. Saw a nice bag for like $390... but still very pricey... I think it was a Photo trekker AW.. the later version. The earlier version was like $360... hmm... might just convert a luggage bag with wheels to a camera carrying case instead. Just pad it all up and go from there.....
Smugmug.com offers pro accounts for about $95us per year. You can use your own domain, it handles all orders, printing and shipping for a cut of the profit. It can do slideshows too.
Yeah, I checked out dirt cheap.. they are basically the Impact Camera store in Chatswood Westfield next to Food for Less (the old Franklins). Must drop in one day and have a squizzy.
Zane, how important is a slide show? I find it quite pointless really because you have to wait. I don't even use that function on ACDSee.
