I've done a coach run to the Snowy's and it's not a trip I'd do ever again. It's a nice drive down anyway in the off season. During peak season it can feel like a cannonball run. You can at least stop and take photos whenever you want. Cruise control is your friend.
Yep, been to Arches and Canyonlands NP in Utah - these are pretty amazing places like many other parts of the Southwest USA. I got to shoot Delicate Arch (had to hike up a hill twice cause first time the weather was overcast) and got some good shots with 10-22. Canyonlands NP is very remote and there are a multitude of canyons formed by the Green and Colorado rivers. I found it quite hard to find a 'defining' photo of Canyonlands as the area is so vast - when using the super wide here the canyons seem to become too small.
Anyway, here are a few from my trip. I haven't had a lot of time to look at them

Yes, and there were people along Kent St this morning.....
I was there on the corner of Kent St for about 30-40 minutes to get some shots but didn't stick around for the Hyde Park activities as I had to go shopping. Did you get any good shots?

I've been there too a few years back. It's just an amazing area and a must visit place if you are in the USA. I did canyonlands, dead horse point and Arches in one day so it was hard to be there in the right light. I drove to the bottom of delicate arch and the 30-40 minute hike from the carpark was just not feasible in the desert heat. What were the conditions like when you were there?
My usa shots are below site in the 'other' gallery.
No, Zane and I ended up in Darling Harbour for the Indonesian Festival. It all got too much at least for me having woken up so d@mn early and I was quite run down. Otherwise I would have had a proper look at the St Pat's day parade though I did see them set up in Kent St with everything and everything there. Took a few pics with the kids from the Newtown High School of Performing Arts that was sitting about.
